This Privacy Policy explains how Media4U ("Media4U," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Media4U TVand related websites and apps (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in to manage your channels, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your name and email address and manages your login credentials on our behalf.
• Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We store a Stripe customer reference, your plan, and subscription status so we know your access level.
• Content you provide. The channels, playlists, schedules, ticker messages, images, and other media you add to your account.
• Usage analytics.We run our own privacy-first, cookieless analytics to understand how the Service is used — page views, which channels are opened, and approximate watch time. A random, anonymous identifier is stored in your browser's local storage to group events; it is not tied to your identity and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
• Technical data. Standard server and device information (such as IP address and browser type) that is processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the Service.

How we use information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• To authenticate you and manage your account and subscription;
• To process payments and prevent fraud;
• To understand usage and improve features and reliability;
• To communicate with you about your account, support, and updates;
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Service providers we share with

We share information only with providers who help us run the Service, under their own privacy and security commitments:

• Clerk — account authentication and login management;
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing;
• Convex — application database and backend;
• Vercel — website and application hosting.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Third-party channels and content

The Service can display live streams and media from third-party sources (for example, publicly available broadcaster or platform streams). Those third parties have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. This policy applies only to Media4U TV.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use only the storage strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to store the anonymous analytics identifier described above.

Data retention

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active. Anonymous analytics events are retained on a rolling basis for operational reporting. When you close your account, we delete or de-identify associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may access, correct, or delete your account information, or ask us questions about your data, by emailing Devland@media4u.fun. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law; we will honor valid requests as required.

Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
